A lighter day plan for ADHD and wandering attention
Writing lists, putting them in order and working out times is tiring. Brizemi does that part for you, so you only look at the next thing.
Today
Thursday 3 Dec
Round 1 of 3 · 10:00–11:15
An example from the app's screen.
Sound familiar?
- The morning starts with twenty things in your head, and you can't start any of them.
- You sit down to a task, and five minutes later you're somewhere else.
- After a few days away, you dread opening the app and seeing the pile.
How Brizemi helps
- Dump
Say or type what's on your mind in any order; Brizemi turns it into up to 15 cards. Your first plan is free, and adding things one by one stays free after that.
- Steps, routines and repeats
Break a task that feels huge into steps; Today only shows the next one. Steps are free.
- Focus
Focus splits the task that's on into 25+5 or 50+10 minute rounds, the break starts on its own, and your plan doesn't move. Free in the app.
- Rescue
When something runs long, Rescue rebuilds the rest of the day with three options, and Undo is always there. Free in the app.
- Parked and clean slate
After 3 or more days away you get a fresh page, not a pile: "No catching up needed."
What makes these days hard is usually not the tasks themselves but the crowd in your head. Deciding what comes first, working out times and keeping a list tidy can drain you before the real work starts.
In the morning you tap Add and say things as they come. You sort the cards into Must, Could and Park, and your first plan is built around your calendar with breathing room in between. On later days you add things one by one, or build the whole day at once with Pro. Put steps inside a big task and Today only shows the next one; when you sit down, Focus splits it into short rounds.
If your attention drifts and a task runs long, your plan isn't lost. You tap Rescue and pick an option; your calendar events stay put. Brizemi never counts what you didn't do or shows it in red.
Ready-made days for you
A day when it's hard to start
For days when you just can't get going: the first thing is small and quick, the day is short, and what doesn't fit waits in Parked, not on your conscience.
When focus is hardA light plan for an overwhelming day
For days when everything lands at once: you get it all out of your head, keep only what really has to happen today, and let the rest wait in Parked.
When focus is hardAn afternoon reset
For days when the morning got away from you: at half past one you dump what's left, the afternoon becomes a realistic half day, and nobody asks about the morning.
Questions people ask
Do I have to talk to it?
No. Touch and hold the Add button to type instead; everything else works the same. If you talk, your speech is turned into text on the phone and never leaves it.
What if I don't open it for a few days?
Nothing piles up, and there are no counters or red text. What you didn't get to waits in Parked, and after 3 or more days away a fresh page opens.
Will notifications interrupt me while I focus?
While a round is on, Brizemi holds its other notifications until the round ends. Only the Don't-miss alarms you turned on still ring.
