An afternoon reset
For days when the morning got away from you: at half past one you dump what's left, the afternoon becomes a realistic half day, and nobody asks about the morning.
Got nothing done this morning and it's already half past one. The proposal has to go out today, it'll take an hour. Client call at 4. Reply to two important emails. Call the plumber about the bathroom tap. Pack up the parcel for the courier. Pick up groceries for dinner. There's part two of the report too, but that can wait until tomorrow.
Paste it into Dump in Brizemi, or say it in your own words. Change the times and things to fit you.

Tips for this day
- When you notice at midday, don't rewrite the plan by hand; tap Rescue. Choose keep the essentials and the proposal and the call stay, while Brizemi rebuilds the hours that are left.
- Turn on Focus for the proposal: 50 minutes of work and 10 of break fit it in exactly one round.
- Park part two of the report. Parked things aren't counted; add it to tomorrow's dump, or with Pro, use Plan tomorrow to place it tonight.
- In the evening, Close the day shows only what you finished; nothing in it mentions the empty morning.
Why this day is built this way
Some mornings just slip away: emails, small jobs, attention going everywhere. When focus is hard this happens more often, and the first thought at midday is "the day is gone". It isn't; there are still five hours ahead. This day builds what's left honestly: the proposal that has to go out today comes first, the call stays at its fixed time, and there's breathing room in between.
There's no making up for the morning. Squeezing the plan to win back lost hours only breaks the afternoon too. Part two of the report can wait until tomorrow, so it sits in Parked. The plumber, the parcel and the groceries are Could things: if they happen, good; if not, the day still counts as a good one.
If you have this day often
If this is a day you have often: when it goes well, tap "Save this day as a template" in Close the day, and next time it sets up in one tap (Day templates, Pro).
A guide on this
Questions people ask
Does this still work if I only notice at 4pm?
Yes. Rescue rebuilds the rest of the day around the fixed things, whatever the time. If there isn't much day left, choose a lighter day and the rest waits in Parked.
Isn't rebuilding the plan at midday a waste of time?
Rescue takes a few seconds and shows you the new day first; if you don't like it, one tap undoes it. It's far quicker than rewriting the plan yourself.
