How do I sort my cards?

Short answer

After a dump, you sort the cards into Must, Could and Park, and fix the length, priority or category by tapping their chips. Then you tap Fit into my day.

Steps

iPhone

  1. After a dump, look over the cards on Here's what I heard.
  2. Swipe a card right to move it to Must, or left to park it. You can also use the card's ••• menu: Move to Must, Move to Could or Move to Park.
  3. Tap the length, priority or category chip to fix it. The priority chip cycles through Must-do, Normal and Low.
  4. Tap a title to rename it. Tap + Add for a new card, or Delete in the ••• menu to remove one.
  5. If the day overflows, tap Park the extras, then tap Fit into my day.
  6. Look over the draft and tap Looks good. To change something, tap Back to cards.

Android

  1. After a dump, look over the cards on Here's what I heard.
  2. To move a card, open its ⋮ menu and pick Move to Must, Move to Could or Move to Park.
  3. Tap the length, priority or category chip to fix it. The priority chip cycles through Must-do, Normal and Low.
  4. Tap a title to rename it. Tap + Add for a new card, or Delete in the ⋮ menu to remove one.
  5. If the day overflows, tap Park the extras, then tap Fit into my day.
  6. Look over the draft and tap Looks good. To change something, tap Back to cards.

Must is what needs to happen today. Could goes in if it fits. Cards in Park stay out of today's plan and wait in Parked. A card for a later day starts in Park, with its date.

The meter at the top says whether the day fits: "Fits · room to breathe", "Tight, but it fits" or "3 things won't fit today. Park which?" Park the extras moves only the Could cards that don't fit; must-dos that don't fit get a line of their own.

You pick a length between 15 minutes and 4 hours, and Brizemi uses it as is. If you said a time, the card shows a time chip; No set time leaves the time to the planner.

In the draft, tap a block for Pin the time, Must-do and Park.
