When the day slips

What is Parked, and how do I bring things back?

Short answer

Parked holds things that don't have a place in a day yet: what didn't fit, what you set aside and unfinished things from earlier days. Adding them back one by one is free.

Android

  1. On Today, tap the tray icon at the top right (Parked).
  2. To add one thing to today, tap Add to today next to it.
  3. To handle several at once, tap Select, pick them, then tap Plan from Parked, Tomorrow or Delete.
  4. To delete one thing, tap ⋮ next to it, then Delete.
  5. Older things wait under Earlier ideas; tap Bring back to bring one back.

Things come to Parked on their own: when a plan or a rescue can't fit them, when you park a block, and when a day ends with things still open (Today then says "Yesterday's unfinished things are in Parked."). Parked shows no counter and doesn't say how long something has waited.

Add to today is always free: it fits the thing into today around what's already planned. If it doesn't fit, it stays in Parked. Plan from Parked builds a new plan from what you selected; after your first plan, that's part of Pro. Tomorrow dates the selected things for tomorrow; they keep waiting in Parked.

Things you haven't touched for more than 14 days move to Earlier ideas.
