When the day slips

How does Undo work?

Short answer

After a change such as a rescue, parking or deleting a thing, Undo shows at the bottom of the screen for a few seconds. One tap puts everything back as it was.

Steps

iPhone

  1. Make a change: for example rescue the day, park or delete a thing, mark something done or change breathing room.
  2. A short note with Undo appears at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Undo within 6 seconds (10 seconds with VoiceOver).
  4. Everything goes back to how it was, and you see "Undone."

Android

  1. Make a change: for example rescue the day, park or delete a thing, mark something done or change breathing room.
  2. A short note with Undo appears at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Undo within 10 seconds.
  4. Everything goes back to how it was, and you see "Undone."

Undo has one level: it takes back only your last change. When you make another change, that one becomes the change Undo takes back.

It restores exactly what changed: blocks and their times, what was done or didn't happen, what went to Parked, and dates. You can undo a rescue, parking or deleting a thing (in Parked too), marking something done or as didn't happen, moving a block a little later, a breathing room or gap change, and stopping a repeat.

On iPhone, when you rescue the day with Siri, its answer has an Undo button too.

Delete all data in Settings can't be undone. Undo itself is always free, like Rescue.
