How do I set up repeating things?

Short answer

You can set something to repeat every day, on weekdays or once a week; each repeat comes as its own card when you plan that day. Repeats and ready routines are Pro, and stopping a repeat is free.

Steps

  1. On the cards screen, choose Repeat… from the card's menu. For a block on Today, open its details and tap the Doesn't repeat chip.
  2. Pick Every day, Weekdays or Once a week. For once a week, choose the day under Which day?.
  3. Tap Done.
  4. For a ready routine, open Settings → Routines & repeats and tap Add next to Morning routine or Evening routine under Ready routines.
  5. To end a repeat, tap Stop repeating under Repeats on the same page.

Repeats never pile up in the background: each one comes as an ordinary card at the end of the others when you plan that day. With no plan yet, Today shows a Repeating today card; tap Add to today to place them.

Skipping, parking or deleting one day's repeat never deletes the rule. If one waits in Parked, the next one takes its place, so nothing piles up. Stop repeating keeps the cards you already have.

If you say "every morning", "weekdays" or "every Tuesday" in a dump, the card comes with the repeat chip set; you can change it.

Ready routines: the Morning routine comes every day at 7:00 and the Evening routine every day at 22:00. Both are 30 minutes and come with timed steps, which you can change in the task.

Setting up a new repeat is Pro; without Pro, the plans screen opens. Stopping a repeat you already have is always free.
