How do I brain dump by voice or typing?

Short answer

Tap the Add button on Today and talk, or hold it and type; Brizemi turns what's on your mind into cards. You don't need to think about order, length or time.

Steps

  1. Tap the amber Add button at the bottom of Today; on an empty day it says Start here. To type instead, touch and hold it.
  2. In Talk, tap the microphone and say what's on your mind, in any order. Or switch to Type and write it.
  3. When you're done, tap That's it, or say "that's it" at the end.
  4. The cards open on Here's what I heard (or Here's what I got if you typed). Look them over, then tap Fit into my day.

You can talk for up to 3 minutes; Brizemi tells you when 15 seconds are left. Typing takes up to 6,000 characters. One dump makes up to 15 cards; if there's more, Brizemi keeps the 15 that sound most pressing and you add the rest.

Times and days you mention go onto the cards, so "dentist at 3 pm" goes at that time. Your speech is turned into text on the phone and never leaves it. If the microphone is off, you can type instead.

Your first plan is free; after that, a new dump is Pro. Without Pro, Add on a planned day still listens and shows a list such as "I heard 3 things." With Add them one at a time you can add each one to today for free; fitting them all into the day at once is Pro.
