How do I add a note and search my things?

Short answer

You can write up to 2,000 characters in the Note field of a block's details. The magnifier on Today searches titles, steps, notes and places; both are free.

Steps

  1. On Today, tap the block's row to open its details.
  2. Tap the Note field and write. The note saves by itself.
  3. To search, tap the magnifier (Search) at the top right of Today.
  4. Type a word from a task, a step or a note. Results are grouped under Today, Parked, Coming up and Done.
  5. Tap a result under Today to open its details. Use the plus button to add something from Parked or Coming up to today.

Your note stays on your phone; widgets, notifications and calendars never read it. A block with a note shows a small note icon on Today; the note itself appears only in the details.

Every word you search for has to be in the task's title, steps, note or place. Capitals and accents don't matter: "cafe" also finds "Café". You see up to 50 results, and what you type is never saved anywhere.

In a block's details you can add up to 12 steps, and Today always shows the next one. Steps are free; getting suggested steps with Split into steps is Pro.

What is Parked, and how do I bring things back?

Parked holds things that don't have a place in a day yet: what didn't fit, what you set aside and unfinished things from earlier days. Adding them back one by one is free.

How do I change a time or a length?

Tap a block on Today and use Change length to add or take away 5 minutes at a time. If something running needs more time, tap Need a bit more on the Now card; to keep a block where it is, turn on Pin the time.

Where is my data kept?

Everything stays on your phone, in Brizemi's own space. There's no account or sign-up; your tasks, plans, voice and calendar are never sent to us or anyone else.
