How do I change a time or a length?

Short answer

Tap a block on Today and use Change length to add or take away 5 minutes at a time. If something running needs more time, tap Need a bit more on the Now card; to keep a block where it is, turn on Pin the time.

Steps

  1. On Today, tap the block's row to open its details.
  2. Tap the length chip with the clock (for example "45 min"), then use − or + under Change length to change it 5 minutes at a time.
  3. If the new length overlaps other things, you'll see "This overlaps 2 things. Rescue the rest?" Tap Rescue if you like.
  4. To keep the block at its time, turn on Pin the time.
  5. If the thing you're on runs long, tap Need a bit more on the Now card and pick the extra time.

A length can be from 5 minutes to 4 hours. When you change one, Brizemi never moves anything by itself; if there's an overlap, it asks.

Need a bit more adds 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes and tells you what each choice does before you pick it: how far the next things shift, or whether something would overlap. Calendar events and things with a set time stay put. Your pick applies at once, with Undo. I'll pick the length opens the block's details.

You can't pick a block's start time on Today; the planner places the times. For something at a set time, say the time in your dump; before you accept the plan, you can also change it with the card's time chip. If the day slips, Rescue rebuilds the rest.
