Things run long, so your day makes room for it
Brizemi never packs your day to the brim; it leaves extra time inside and between things. You choose how much with Less, Usual or More.

An example from the app's screen.
How it works
- 1
Open Settings → Day & plan → Breathing room; while you shape a plan, the Breathing room row opens the same sheet.
- 2
Pick Less, Usual or More; the sheet shows how much room you get and whether something goes to Parked.
- 3
Choose Just today or Always, then tap Apply to today.
What it does
- Fills the day up to 80% on Less, 70% on Usual and 60% on More.
- Gives an hour of work 15, 30 or 45 extra minutes on Less, Usual or More.
- Lets you change a single gap: tap it on Today and pick a length in This gap.
- Lets you set gaps between tasks and around meetings with Gaps · every day.
What it doesn't do
- Make a length or time you set yourself any longer.
- Send must-dos to Parked because of breathing room.
- Send what it learns from your days off your phone.
People almost always guess that a task will take less time than it really does; it's called the planning fallacy. That's why a plan packed to the minute slips at the first task that runs long, and everything after it slips too. Breathing room absorbs that from the start. When something runs over, the room usually goes first and the next things stay where they are. For the days when the room isn't enough, there's Rescue.

Questions people ask
Which one should I pick?
Usual is picked to start with and suits most days. If your day is hard to predict, More feels easier; if your tasks are short and familiar, Less does.
Does Brizemi learn lengths from me?
If Learn from your days is on, yes: it learns from what finishes and what runs long, only on your phone. Fitted to you shows what it changed; you can forget a row or turn learning off. New plans use these lengths, and planning after your first plan is Pro.
Is breathing room paid?
No. Less, Usual, More, single gaps and your everyday gaps are all free.
