A meeting-heavy day

For anyone whose calendar is packed with meetings: they stay where they are, short tasks slot into the gaps, and you stop running from one room to the next.

Brain dumpToday
Meetings all day: team meeting at 9:30, client call at 11 for an hour, budget meeting at 1:30, a one-to-one at 3, weekly review at 4:30.

Send the meeting notes to the team.
Emails, half an hour.

Tips for this day

  • Meetings come from your calendar and stay where they are; Brizemi fits tasks into the gaps between them. That's why it helps to say how long things take in your dump.
  • Jot what you remember from a meeting in the matching card's Note; when it's time to send the notes, everything is already there.
  • If a meeting runs over and the plan slips, tap Rescue: with Keep the essentials, meetings and Must things stay, and the parcel gets parked.
  • Write my plan to a calendar (Pro) shows your planned tasks in a separate calendar, so your calendar app has the whole day side by side with your meetings.

Why this day is built this way

On a day full of meetings it feels as if there's no time to get anything done. The time is there, but it comes in half-hour pieces. This day uses those pieces. Work that needs attention, like the budget sheet, happens in the morning before the meetings start. The client notes go right before the call, and sending notes and answering emails slot in between meetings.

Every meeting has a short stretch of breathing room after it. Meetings almost always run over, and without a gap, one overrun pushes the whole afternoon. Small errands like the parcel go to the end of the day, and tidying the desk waits in Parked if it doesn't fit.

If you have this day often

If this is a day you have often: when it goes well, tap "Save this day as a template" in Close the day, and next time it sets up in one tap (Day templates, Pro).

When your day falls apart: how to rescue the rest of it

Questions people ask

What should I do with 15 minutes between meetings?

It's a good spot for short things: an email, a call, sending notes. Brizemi puts short tasks in these gaps and moves the work that needs attention to the morning, before the meetings start.

How do meetings get into the plan?

Brizemi reads your calendar on your phone and places meetings as fixed blocks. A meeting you mention with a time in your dump stays fixed too.

When the day slips, rescue it in one tap

Brizemi turns what's on your mind into a realistic day and rebuilds the rest when the day falls apart. Rescue is always free.
