How do I delete my data?

Short answer

Settings → Backup & data → Delete all data removes everything Brizemi keeps on this phone, after two confirmations. To clear only the learned lengths, Reset what I've learned is enough.

Steps

iPhone

  1. Open Settings → Backup & data.
  2. To clear only the learned lengths, tap Reset what I've learned and confirm.
  3. To delete everything, tap Delete all data, then Continue, then Delete everything.
  4. Or delete Brizemi from your iPhone; the app's data goes with it.

Android

  1. Open Settings → Backup & data.
  2. To clear only the learned lengths, tap Reset what I've learned and confirm.
  3. To delete everything, tap Delete all data, then Continue, then Delete everything.
  4. Or use Android Settings → Apps → Brizemi → Storage → Clear storage (may differ by version), or uninstall Brizemi.

Delete all data removes your tasks, plans, settings, learned lengths and the app's own backups. It can't be undone.

  • It doesn't touch the events in your calendar.
  • It doesn't cancel your subscription; Pro continues until you cancel it.
  • Backups you saved to Files and your phone's own backups stay under your control; delete them separately.
  • Reset what I've learned leaves your plans and tasks alone; it's greyed out when there's nothing learned.
  • To have e-mails you sent us deleted, write to support@brizemi.com.

How do I back up and restore?

Brizemi makes a backup on the first open of each day and keeps the last 7 on your phone. In Settings → Backup & data you can back up now, save a backup to a file and restore it.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Apple or Google Play manages your subscription, so you cancel it there. In Brizemi, Settings → Brizemi Pro → Manage subscription takes you straight to that page. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

What is breathing room, and how do I change it?

Breathing room is the extra time Brizemi leaves in your day, because things often take longer than you think. You pick Less, Usual or More, for today or for every day.
