Steps
iPhone
- On the old iPhone, tap Settings → Backup & data → Back up now, then Save to Files next to that backup. Pick a place the new iPhone can reach.
- If you move the whole iPhone with Apple's transfer or from an iPhone backup, Brizemi's data comes along and you can skip step 4.
- On the new iPhone, open Brizemi and tap I've used Brizemi before on the first screen.
- Tap Restore from a backup and pick the .json file you saved; your plans, tasks and settings come back.
- Tap Restore purchases to get Pro back with the same Apple Account.
Android
- On the old phone, tap Settings → Backup & data → Back up now, then Save to Files next to that backup. Pick a folder the new phone can reach.
- If Android backup is on, app data may come back while you set up the new phone; then you can skip step 4.
- On the new phone, open Brizemi and tap I've used Brizemi before on the first screen.
- Tap Restore from a backup and pick the .json file you saved.
- Tap Restore purchases to get Pro back with the same Google account.
Brizemi has no account, so there's no sync between two phones; each phone keeps its own data. You only need to move it once.
- Your calendar events come with your calendar account; give Brizemi calendar access again on the new phone.
- You can also use Brizemi's .json backup file when moving from iPhone to Android or the other way round. Pro doesn't move, though, because the purchase belongs to Apple or Google.
- You may need to allow notifications, the microphone and other permissions again on the new phone.
