A deadline day
For a freelancer or small business delivering work today: the main job is done by midday, and the delivery goes out long before the last minute.
I'm delivering the logo files to the client today, 5pm at the latest. Final revisions first, about two hours. Then export the files and set up the folder, an hour. Quick video call with the client at 11:30. Write and send the delivery email. Send the invoice. Get the month-end paperwork to my accountant. Reply to that email about the new project. Add this job to my portfolio if there's time.
Paste it into Dump in Brizemi, or say it in your own words. Change the times and things to fit you.

Tips for this day
- Set Don't miss (Pro) on the delivery email: when its time comes, your phone rings loudly. You get up to three a day for Must things, and today this is the one.
- Mark the final revisions as Tiring; Brizemi puts tiring work in the morning, when your energy is highest.
- Break the export into Steps inside the card: "PNG, SVG, PDF, zip the folder". You always see where you left off.
- If the call runs long or a new change comes in, tap Rescue: keep the essentials and the files and the delivery stay put, the new project reply gets parked.
Why this day is built this way
On delivery days the work tends to pile up in the last hour. That isn't laziness: final revisions, exporting and the delivery email always take longer than we expect. This day puts the main work in the first two hours of the morning and pulls the delivery email two and a half hours ahead of the deadline. If something goes wrong, the gap absorbs it and the deadline holds.
The client call has a fixed time, so it stays where it is. Exporting after the call means a small request from it can still make it into the final files. The invoice comes right after the delivery, because an invoice sent while the job is fresh doesn't get forgotten. Things that don't need to happen today, like the portfolio, wait in Parked for a calmer moment.
If you have this day often
If this is a day you have often: when it goes well, tap "Save this day as a template" in Close the day, and next time it sets up in one tap (Day templates, Pro).
A guide on this
The planning fallacy: why everything takes longer than you think
Questions people ask
The deadline is 5pm, so why does the email go at 14:20?
The last jobs of a delivery day always take longer than planned: a file won't export, the client has a question. Sending early leaves more than two hours of slack, so a hiccup doesn't touch the deadline.
What if the client asks for another change on the call?
Say the change into Dump, then tap Rescue. Brizemi rebuilds the rest of the day around the fixed things, like the delivery; Could things that no longer fit wait in Parked.
