Remember what's due and what you can't miss
You give a task a due date and plans make room before it. For a must-do you can't miss, you set an alarm that rings even when your phone is on silent.

An example from the app's screen.
How it works
- 1
Say "finish the report by Friday" in a brain dump and Brizemi catches the date; or tap Add a due date in the task's details.
- 2
On a must-do, tap the Don't miss chip and pick a time under When should it ring?, from When it starts to 1 hr before.
- 3
Tap Turn on Don't miss. The alarm rings even on silent; if Rescue moves the task, the alarm moves with it.
What it does
- Catches a date like "by Friday" and takes it out of the title: "Finish the report · Due Friday".
- Protects a task that's due like a must-do; Rescue keeps it in place as long as it fits.
- With Pro, sends a calm heads-up the day before, and a week before too if you like: "Due tomorrow".
- Don't miss sets an alarm for a must-do in your phone's own alarm system; it rings on silent and can be snoozed for 10 minutes.
What it doesn't do
- Give a due date a time; a due date is a date only.
- Show a passed due date in red or count it; it just reads "Was due …".
- Allow more than 3 Don't-miss alarms a day; Don't miss is for must-dos only.
- Put due dates on repeating tasks.
A due date is usually remembered on the day it arrives, when there's no room left for it. Due dates bring that forward: plans protect a task that's due like a must-do and make room before it. For some things, though, it isn't the day that matters but the minute. A notification can slip past on a silent phone. Don't miss is for those few things; it uses your phone's own alarm system and rings on silent. The limit of three a day is on purpose: if everything is a can't-miss, nothing feels like one.

Questions people ask
How is Don't miss different from a regular notification?
A regular notification comes 5 minutes before a task starts and follows your phone's silent setting. Don't miss is an alarm: it rings with sound even on silent and can be snoozed for 10 minutes. A task with an alarm doesn't get its regular notification; the alarm takes its place.
Can I use due dates without Pro?
Partly. If you say "by Friday" in a brain dump, Brizemi catches the date and adds it as a due date; you can see it and remove it. Setting or changing one yourself, and the heads-ups, come with Pro.
How many Don't-miss alarms can I have a day?
Up to 3. If you try a fourth, Brizemi says "You have 3 Don't-miss alarms today" and asks you to turn one off.
