Notifications, alarms and Focus

How do I set a status for the day?

Short answer

From the status chip on Today you pick Sick, Traveling, Busy shop or Post-shift. That day Brizemi expects nothing more from you and sends no notifications; the status clears at midnight.

Steps

  1. Tap the Regular day chip at the top of Today.
  2. On What kind of day is it?, pick Sick, Traveling, Busy shop or Post-shift.
  3. For Busy shop, answer How long will the rush last? (30 min to 2 hr); for Post-shift, When will you be up? (12:00 to 15:00).
  4. To rebuild the day as well, tap Rescue today for this; to only set the status, tap Just set the status.
  5. If you change your mind, tap Back to a regular day on Today.

While a status is set, Today shows a "No notifications today." band. Brizemi sends no notifications that day; only the Don't-miss alarms you turned on still ring. The status sheet lists them too, and you can tap Turn off there.

Each status treats the day a little differently:

  • Sick and Traveling: no expectations today. If Rescue opens, Sick preselects Move it to tomorrow and Traveling Lighter day.
  • Busy shop: starting now, I keep the time you pick clear and plan around it.
  • Post-shift: the day starts at the time you'll be up.

In Rescue you can switch to another option or tap Leave it as is. Your calendar events never move.

A status is for today only and clears at midnight. If learning from your days is on, a day with a status isn't used for learning. Setting a status is free.
