A homework and project day

For a student with homework and a group project piling up: the hardest work goes first, the long task gets the afternoon, and practice stays on time.

Brain dumpToday
Saturday, I need to get through my homework today.
Maths homework, 20 problems, an hour.
Video call with my project group at 11, half an hour.
History presentation is on Monday, need to finish the slides, two hours.
Physics lab report, due Monday, an hour.
French essay due Thursday.
Return the library book.
Football practice at 6pm, pack my kit bag before.
Tidy my desk if there's time.

Paste it into Dump in Brizemi, or say it in your own words. Change the times and things to fit you.

  • Fixed time
  • Must
  • Could

A sample day. Brizemi builds yours around your own calendar, routines and the time of day.

How to use it

  1. 1

Copy the dump, or rewrite it with your own things.

  2. 2

Open Dump in Brizemi and paste; the things become cards. Sort them into Must, Could and Park.

  3. 3

Brizemi builds the day around your calendar, with breathing room in between. When the day slips, tap Rescue.

Tips for this day

  • Add Steps inside the slides card: "intro, three sections, sources, final check". Two hours of work turns into small pieces you tick off one by one.
  • Give the French essay a due date of Thursday; it waits in Parked without getting lost. The heads-up notices as the date gets close are Pro.
  • If the call runs long, tap Rescue: keep the essentials, and the slides and the report stay put while the Could things get parked.
  • Mark the maths homework as Tiring; Brizemi puts tiring things in the morning, when your attention is freshest.

Why this day is built this way

A homework day looks light until you notice how different the pieces are: one hour here, two hours there, a call fixed in the middle. This day puts the maths that needs the most attention in the morning. The two-hour slides won't fit in the gap before the group call, so a short errand like the library goes there instead.

The presentation and the lab report are due on Monday, so they sit in Must and take the long, quiet stretch of the afternoon. The French essay has until Thursday; it isn't squeezed into today and waits in Parked. Practice is fixed, with a short slot before it to pack your kit and some room to spare, so the day doesn't end in a rush at six.

If you have this day often

If this is a day you have often: when it goes well, tap "Save this day as a template" in Close the day, and next time it sets up in one tap (Day templates, Pro).

How to make a realistic daily plan that survives the day

Questions people ask

Does this work on a school day, after classes?

Yes. Say what time you get home in your dump and Brizemi builds the same order into the afternoon. Less fits, and what doesn't fit waits in Parked.

Can I track what the rest of my group is doing?

Brizemi plans your day, not the group's. Write your own part as a card, and add who is bringing what in the card's Note.

When the day slips, rescue it in one tap

Brizemi turns what's on your mind into a realistic day and rebuilds the rest when the day falls apart. Rescue is always free.
