Special days

A travel day

For a day with an evening flight: work is done in the morning, the bag gets packed after lunch, and there's a calm gap before you head out the door.

  2. 2

Open Dump in Brizemi and paste; the things become cards. Sort them into Must, Could and Park.

  3. 3

Brizemi builds the day around your calendar, with breathing room in between. When the day slips, tap Rescue.

Tips for this day

  • Say the flight time and when you leave home in the dump; Brizemi keeps both fixed and puts the packing before them, with room to spare.
  • Add Steps to the packing card: "charger", "ID", "headphones", "gift". One look is enough on the way out.
  • Set Don't miss (Pro) on online check-in: when its time comes, your phone rings loudly, so it doesn't get lost after the meeting.
  • If the morning work runs long, tap Rescue: keep the essentials and check-in, packing and the time you leave stay put, while things like the fridge get parked.

Why this day is built this way

On travel days the tiring part isn't the journey, it's the hours before you leave: the work has to be finished, the bag packed, the house left in order, and all of it in time for a fixed departure. This day is built backwards. The flight and the time you leave home are fixed; packing is done two hours before you go, and work fills the first half of the morning.

Online check-in sits right after the meeting as a short card of its own, because ten-minute jobs are the easiest to forget. The forty minutes before you leave are empty on purpose, for whatever turns up at the last minute. Downloading a book waits in Parked if it doesn't fit; you can do it at the airport too.

If you have this day often

If this is a day you have often: when it goes well, tap "Save this day as a template" in Close the day, and next time it sets up in one tap (Day templates, Pro).

Questions people ask

Why is there forty minutes of nothing before leaving?

Something always turns up at the last minute on a travel day: a forgotten charger, a bag that won't close, a late taxi. That gap is for those; if nothing turns up, you get a calm cup of tea.

What if my flight is in the morning?

Put the packing in the dump for the evening before, so the morning only has leaving and the flight. With Pro, Plan tomorrow lets you set up the travel morning the night before.

When the day slips, rescue it in one tap

Brizemi turns what's on your mind into a realistic day and rebuilds the rest when the day falls apart. Rescue is always free.
