Brizemi is a calm day planner for iPhone and Android. You talk or type what's on your mind, and it plans a day around your calendar. When the day slips, one tap rescues it. Questions? Most answers are below. If not, write to me.

What's free?

These are free, with no time limit:

In short: today is free, tomorrow and after is Pro. These are free, with no time limit:

• Rescue, in the app, from Siri and from Control Center
• Undo
• Today, in both views (Simple and Detailed)
• Done and Didn't happen
• Park, and typing things into today one at a time; on a full day, putting one into a free gap
• "Add one thing instead" on any paywall that blocks an action
• Close the day and What you got done
• Reading your calendar, block reminders, and seeing your day in the widgets
• Your first plan, during setup

What does Pro add?

• A new day plan from talking or typing, on any day you like; a new dump on a planned day; a fresh-page day's plan.
• "Plan tomorrow": set up tomorrow tonight, around your calendar.
• "Plan from Parked": build a day from several parked things at once.
• Lengths learned from your days, used in new plans.
• The week view, repeating things and Bring from Reminders.
• The midday check-in ("How's the day going?"), the morning nudge and welcome-back reminders.
• The Live Activity, the widgets' Done and Rescue buttons, and Siri and Shortcuts actions other than Rescue.

Prices can differ by country and can change. The plans screen always shows the App Store price before you buy.

When am I charged?

• Brizemi has no free trial. When you buy Pro, Apple charges the price shown on the plans screen to your Apple Account right away.
• Pro Yearly renews every year and Pro Monthly every month, on the same day and at the price shown, until you cancel.
• Pro Lifetime is paid once and never renews.
• You can use everything in the free list without buying anything.

How do I cancel?

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
3. Choose Brizemi and tap Cancel Subscription.

You can also go there from Brizemi: Settings → "Manage subscription".

• Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to stop the next charge.
• Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
• Rescue and everything in the free list keep working after you cancel.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments, so Apple handles refunds too. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com, or in Brizemi go to Settings → "Request a refund", which opens Apple's form. I can't issue refunds myself, and I never see your payment details.

My payment didn't go through

Apple retries the payment for a while. During that time Pro stays on, and Today shows a short note. Update your payment method in iPhone Settings → your name → Payment & Shipping.

How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?

• Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Brizemi, and tap Settings → "Restore purchases" ("Restore" on the plans screen does the same).
• Your plans don't sync, because there's no account. They move to a new iPhone only with an iPhone backup or transfer.

What is Lifetime?

• Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It stays valid for as long as Brizemi is offered on the App Store.
• It never renews, and you can restore it on the same Apple Account.
• To find it, tap "Rather not subscribe?" on the plans screen.
• Buying Lifetime doesn't cancel a subscription you already have. Cancel that in Subscriptions, as above.
• Family Sharing isn't available for Brizemi purchases.

Using Brizemi

What does Rescue do?

When the day slips, tap the amber Rescue my day button. You'll see three options, each with a preview:

• Keep the essentials
• Lighter afternoon
• Move it to tomorrow

Calendar events never move. After you pick one, "Undo" stays on screen for 6 seconds (10 with VoiceOver). Rescue is free everywhere: in the app, with Siri, from widgets, Control Center and the Live Activity.

What is breathing room?

Breathing room is extra time inside and between your things, so the day has slack. Choose Less, Usual or More.

After a few real days (5 finished things across 3 different days), Brizemi starts fitting breathing room to how long your things actually take.

• Learned lengths are used only when a new plan is made. A plan you've accepted never changes by itself.
• Lengths you set yourself always win.
• Tap "Forget this" on any learned line to drop it.
• Switch learning off in Settings → "Learn from your days".

Talking doesn't work

• Check iPhone Settings → Brizemi → Microphone and Speech Recognition.
• The first time you talk in a language, iOS may need to download its voice model once.
• You can always type instead; everything else works the same.

My iPhone doesn't have Apple Intelligence

That's fine. Without it, Brizemi makes cards with its own offline rules, and the steps are the same. You can pick how cards are made in Settings → "Making cards": Smart, on this iPhone or Basic (one card per line). If a guess looks off, tap it to change it.

What is a fresh page?

If you've been away for 3 days or more, Brizemi opens on a fresh page instead of a pile. Older things wait quietly in Parked.

Too many or too few notifications?

Settings → Notifications: Calm (up to 3 a day), Normal (up to 6) or Frequent (up to 10). If you set a status for the day, such as "Sick" or "Traveling", notifications stay off for that day.

How do I add widgets?

• Home Screen:
  1. Touch and hold an empty spot, then tap Edit → Add Widget.
  2. Search for "Brizemi" and choose Today.
  3. Pick a size and tap Add Widget.
• Lock Screen:
  1. Touch and hold the Lock Screen, then tap Customize → Lock Screen.
  2. Tap the widget area and add Brizemi.
• Control Center:
  1. Swipe down from the top-right corner.
  2. Touch and hold an empty spot, or tap +, then tap Add a Control.
  3. Search for "Brizemi" and choose Rescue my day or Brain dump.
• Action button (on iPhones that have one): iPhone Settings → Action Button → Controls → Brizemi.

How do I turn on the Live Activity?

1. In Brizemi, open Settings → Lock Screen.
2. Turn on Live Activity.

It appears while a planned block is in progress. It shows the time left and what's next, with Done and Rescue buttons. Turn on Hide titles to show "Something planned" instead of task names.

If it doesn't show up, check iPhone Settings → Brizemi → Live Activities.

What can I say to Siri?

• "Rescue my day in Brizemi"
• "Brizemi, move it to tomorrow"
• "What's next in Brizemi"
• "Brain dump in Brizemi"
• "Park something in Brizemi"

In Turkish, say "Brizemi ile günümü toparla". These phrases also appear in the Shortcuts app. Some of them ask you to unlock your iPhone first.

Does Brizemi change my calendar?

No. It only reads the calendars you choose (Settings → Calendars) and plans around them.

How do I delete my data?

• Brizemi Settings → Delete all data removes everything Brizemi stored on this iPhone. It asks twice.
• "Reset what I've learned" clears only the learned lengths.
• Deleting the app also removes its data.

Brizemi on Android

Cancelling, refunds and restoring on Android

• Cancel: Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Brizemi → Cancel subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the paid period, and uninstalling doesn't cancel.
• Refund: Google Play handles refunds. Ask from your Google Play order history, or see Google Play's refund policy. I can't issue refunds myself.
• Payment didn't go through: Google retries for a few days, and Pro stays on meanwhile. Update your payment method in Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods.
• New phone: sign in with the same Google Account and open Brizemi. Pro comes back on its own. Plans don't sync, because there's no account; Android backup can bring them over.

Talking doesn't work on Android

• Voice needs Android 12 or later, with on-device speech recognition for your language. The first time, Android may download that language once.
• Check Android Settings → Apps → Brizemi → Permissions → Microphone.
• You can always type instead; everything else works the same.

Deleting your data on Android

Android Settings → Apps → Brizemi → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall Brizemi. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
